Dr. Chernov has decades of experience as an educator, composer, music theorist, public lecturer, arranger, orchestrator, producer, music copyist, editor, and author. He has served on the faculties of several top music preparatory schools, colleges, and conservatories, and has taught students of all ages.

Additonally, he has done significant editing (line, copy, and indexing) for several major publications and has been an advisor for masters and doctorate theses and dissertations. He has taught courses specifically designed to help students achieve clear, concise, and powerful writing.
